WHO IS R&D SKIS?
OUR MISSION:
R&D skis is a brand new company in the ski industry 100% from Quebec. Based out of Sherbrooke, in the heart of the mountains of the Eastern Townships, the company seeks to innovate constantly in all aspects of designing and manufacturing skis. The objective is to offer efficient skis at an affordable price point to make purchasing skis “Made in Quebec,” which are often expensive, more accessible. Because we’re proud of being from Quebec and because we have an artsy side, the design of our skis showcases local artists.
Why R&D? For Research and development.
Our team is composed of a big dreamer (no jokes, he's 6’ 7 tall) who for 10 years has been testing different shapes of skis… materials… manufacturing… Now satisfied with what he’s developed, he’s joined forces with a short marketing dude (still not joking, he’s really short) and with a human-computer (no worries, he’s 100% human).
With a team of passionate ski enthusiasts, this infernal trio wishes to revolutionize the world of skiing with a price-quality back-country ski that’s impossible to beat, an exceptional design and a buying process that’s 100% online!
R&D skis is a lab for testing for the truly passionate who want something different.
Our warranty
R&D Skis warrants from the date of shipment to customer that product bearing the R&D Skiks name will substantially conform to R&D Skis specifications as quoted in the confirmation of order and will be free from substantial defects in material and workmanship under normal use, given proper use and maintenance, for the period of one (1) year from the date of shipment. A design alteration is not a defect according to the warranty.
R&D Skis’ entire liability and customer’s exclusive remedy whether in contract, tort or otherwise, for any claim related to or arising out of breach of the warranty covering product shall be correction of defects by repair, replacement, or credit the customer at R&D Skis’ discretion.
R&D Skis does not warrant that the functions of the product will meet customer's requirements or that the product will operate in combination with other products selected by customer for its use.
R&D Skis assumes no liability with respect to (a) defects caused by modification, repair, installation, operation or maintenance except as described in R&D Skis’ documentation; (b) negligent or other improper use of the product; or c) the design of the product.
In addition, R&D Skis assumes no liability for equipment or services furnished by customer.
No agent, distributor, or representative is authorized to make any warranties on behalf of R&D Skis.
This is the sole warranty with respect to products manufactured by R&D Skis. R&D Skis’ liability shall be the repair, replacement, or credit for defective product as stated above and shall in no way include liability for consequential, above and shall in no way include liability for consequential, special, indirect or incidental damage. This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, either express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
